Criteria for Admissions

All students are welcome to apply to Matheia School. Educational testing is not required.

Selection is based upon several elements:

• We maintain a class size of ten or fewer students in each grade.
• Our goal is to have a balanced number of boys and girls in each class.
• We recognize that each child brings his or her own unique blend of abilities. We strive to compose classes that reflect a wide variety of backgrounds, abilities, and interests, and that will function well as a unit.
• It is important to us to build strong relationships with families, so we give special consideration to applications of siblings of existing students.
